Welcome to the European Study Group for Dysphagia and Globus! The EGDG is a Society with members from various specialties and from different countries involved in diagnosis and treatment of oral, pharyngeal, laryngeal and oesophageal dysfunctions. The aim of the treatment is to eliminate globus and dysphagia and to restore normal function of the swallowing apparatus. The purpose of EGDG´s meetings is to encourage the scientific and clinical investigations in the field of diagnostics, rehabilitation and surgical restoration, to exchange knowledge and ideas among the members of EGDG in the form of lectures and panel discussions. The aim is to influence team-work in management, rehabilitation and surgical restoration, covering all functional components of rehabilitation. *********
